Shawn Dino and the Mighty Construction Trucks
An Inkly Story
One warm morning in Dino Valley, the sun peeked out like a giant flashlight in the sky. Shawn Dino stretched his legs, shook his tail, and yawned a great big dino-yawn.
“Today,” he said, “I want to build something huge.”
Shawn loved building things. He made pillow forts, stick castles, even a snack tower once made entirely of cheese cubes. But this time, he had something bigger in mind.
“I’ll build a real-life playground! With a slide as tall as a tree and a swing that goes WHOOSH!”
But building a playground wasn’t easy—not for one small dino. That’s when he heard the sound:
RUMBLE-CHUG-CLANK!
Over the hill came a parade of mighty construction trucks!
There was Darla the Dump Truck, Eddie the Excavator, and Benny the Bulldozer.
“Need a hand?” said Benny, scooping up a big pile of dirt with one strong blade.
Shawn grinned. “Yes, please!”
Together, they got to work:
Benny pushed the dirt into perfect piles.
Eddie dug deep holes for the slide and monkey bars.
Darla carried beams and blocks on her back.
Shawn was in charge of planning and painting—and giving extra-big high-fives!
The trucks sang while they worked.
“Scoop it, lift it, haul it high—
We build the fun that reaches the sky!”
By the end of the day, the playground was done:
a twisty slide, a zip line, climbing rocks, and even a dino-shaped seesaw!
All the dino-kids from town came running.
“This is the best playground ever!” they shouted, sliding and swinging with glee.
Shawn beamed.
“We built it together.”
And as the sun set behind Dino Valley, the trucks tooted their horns and rolled away, ready for their next big job.
